The Heschel Center at the Israel Climate March 2017

On a sunny Friday at the end of April, in the same week where thousands of people strolled down the streets in concern and solidarity with the Climate movement, Israel had registered an impressive achievement of 1000 participants of the largest climate march in Israel so far.

This was a march that linked innovations, NGOs and climate initiatives along with over 10 ambassadors to Israel who joined to support. Most imporant, the hundreds of young people who participated, and received an essential lesson in civic responsibility and action.

It was inspiring, colorful and creative. Musical rhythms and songs ran out along with a very serious call to urge governments to do more on climate change.
